Survived by his loving & devoted wife, Vallian; son, Marshall Ronnie Averbook (Marcia); daughter, JoEllen Ostrow of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Jason (Heather) Averbook, Shelley Averbook, Lisa (Adam) Herzlich, Todd Ostrow and great-grandson, Benjamin Averbook. Sam led a long and happy life and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather & great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed. Graveside service King David Mortuary, Thursday, May 19, 2:30 PM, Las Vegas, NV.
